Let's Reflect and Reconnect

Dear Alumni,

As the holidays approach, your FBICLECAAA Board wanted to send warm wishes to you and your family, and let you know that 2024 has been an incredible year!

Our goal this past year was promoting public safety and security through our two pillars – Community Engagement/Awareness and Education/Training, and we did so by organizing various community programs in partnership with the Cleveland FBI.

Thanks to your unwavering support, we have been able to provide scholarships, mentorships, support to our veterans and fallen officers, education in our community, and so much more!

Here are just a few examples of what we achieved in 2024:


·        Scholarships: We provided a total of $10,000 in scholarships this past year, and one specific example is our partnership with the Tri-C Police Academy. The FBICLECAAA funds partial scholarships to students attending the Academy to begin a career in Federal, State, or Local law enforcement to help keep our community safe.

·        Mentorships at Camp Forbes: Camp Forbes is a residential camp for the city of Cleveland youths between ages 9 and 13, and each year the FBICLECAAA provides volunteers at the camp for 8 weeks, with 100 kids attending this camp each week. In 2024, our organization made a capital investment of $19,000, providing much needed equipment to keep the kids entertained and engaged during their stay. Additionally, each week our volunteers built a picnic table with a group of campers, and at the end of the summer, Camp Forbes had 8 brand new picnic tables for the kids to enjoy!  


 

Flags for Honor: Each year in September, we unite in gratitude and remembrance as we host our Annual Flags for Honor.

Each flag honored both active and fallen heroes, community servants, etc. and we not only pay homage to their sacrifice, but also strengthen the bonds in our community.

This event is more than just flags – it’s about making a difference in our community, and we are proud to announce we raised $43,000  which go to support vital FBI Community Outreach programs, as well as our mission.


As we look ahead to 2025, we need your continued support to ensure that there is a safer future for us all. Your previous membership investment has directly assisted our efforts in our mission to promote public safety and security. We hope that we can count on your membership once again to help us achieve our goals and initiatives to advance the mission of the FBI and the FBICLECAAA to educate others about the amazing work the FBI demonstrates to protect our community and our country.
